Upon arrival at Gelendzhik, a crew shall proceed as follows: at the Planning and Formalities Department of Flight Committee:
- Complete the pilot's application form for participation in the exhibition (Appendix 1 4);
- Complete the flight description forms (Appendix 1-5);
- Introduce themselves to the Flight Director or its deputy;
- Obtain the exhibition participant accreditation card for access to the authorized areas.
Application for departure shall be submitted to the Planning and Formalities Department.
In case of urgent departure, the crew shall inform the Flight director beforehand.
Formalization of flight display permit
The permit for flight display according to the exhibition program is issued separately for each aircraft by Flight Director.
To obtain this permit, proceed as follows: upon arrival at Gelendzhik, submit the following documents to the Planning and Formalities Department of Flight Committee:
1. Aircraft airworthiness certificate (interim certificate).
2. Pilot's application to participate in flight display according to the exhibition program (Appendix 1-4)
3. Approval for flying the given type of aircraft.
4. Pilot license expiry date (medical approval for flights).
5. Description and pattern of normal demonstration flight and auxiliary demonstration flight (in case of adverse weather conditions). For experimental aircraft, the demonstration flight program and procedure shall also be provided. All documents under this paragraph shall be approved by company managers.
6. Commentary text for normal and auxiliary demonstration flight including basic characteristics.
7. Document certifying the level of qualification of specialist (pilot).
8. Insurance policy for the crew.
9. Insurance policy for the aircraft.
10. Third-party liability insurance policy.
11. Aircraft readiness report approved by the authorized manager representing the aircraft.
Flight Committee reserves the right to exclude and maneuver (recommend another maneuver) or deny the entire demonstration flight pattern if it does not comply with safety and attraction criteria.
The aircraft exhibitors shall submit the following documents to the technical commission at Flight Administration:
- Design strength, aerodynamics and hydrodynamics data;
- Results of strength bench tests (if available);
- Approval of R&D Institutes (if available);
- Data on the hours flown and materials as an evidence of flights performed (photos, videos);
- The processed records of flight data recorder (if available);
- Technical description and Flight Manual;
- Data on the available emergency escape and rescue equipment;
- Aircraft logbook and engine(s) logbook(s).
The technical commission may recommend that a test pilot perform a check flight. The aircraft approval for flight display is subject to the results of such check flight.
All foreign aircraft shall be specified in the customs declaration, and upon arrival pass the customs and border control clearance.
Each aircraft that arrived at the exhibition shall have towing equipment and non-standard equipment (jacks, hooks, slings, etc.)
During towing activities on ground, aircraft engines shall be covered with covers (caps).
The crew shall inform the Flight Director about all dangerous products available on board.
