The Seventh Scientific Conference on Hydroaviation will be held on 4-7 September, 2008 in "NADEZHDA" Hotel in Gelendzhik within the scope of exhibition GIDROAVIASALON '2008.
The conference will become an international forum where participants can meet and discuss innovations and general issues, present and publish scientific papers.
Prominent scientists, hydroaviation specialists, operators, aircraft equipment designers and manufacturers have been invited to the conference.
Exploration of coastal shelves, ecological monitoring of sea, forest firefighting, patrol of economic zones, and search-and-rescue operations - these are some of the main missions to be accomplished by various agencies and organizations worldwide with the aid of marine aviation.
The scientific conference will cover the tasks of theoretical and practical hydro- and aerodynamics of marine aircraft, strength and corrosion issues, worldwide application of hydroaviation in transportation, ecological and patrolling missions.
The conference will include two plenary meetings plus the following sessions:

Russian will be the official language of the conference. Simultaneous interpretation into English will be provided for foreign participants. Before the conference starts, the conference proceedings will have been published as books containing the abstracts of papers, and books containing the full papers, in Russian and English. The abstracts of papers and full papers will be available for all registered participants of the conference.
The conference will be organized by the Scientific-Methodological Board headed by Mr. V.G. Dmitriev, Director of TsAGI Institute named after professor N.E. Zhoukovsky.
